Description
When you hear someone say they are a 32nd or 33rd degree Mason, that means they are a Scottish Rite Mason. The 4th to 32nd degrees are conferred by the varying bodies of the Scottish Rite. These degrees help continue the Masonic journey and expose a Mason to a larger Masonic family.
The Indianapolis Valley (that’s like a Lodge, but for the Scottish Rite) draws its membership from Masons around the state who meet to confer the degrees in convocations or reunions.
The Indianapolis Valley meets in one of the finest Masonic structures in the world– The Indianapolis Scottish Rite Cathedral. While this building is often known to non-Masons as being one of the premier wedding and rental venues in the area, it is the home of Indianapolis Scottish Rite Freemasonry and hosts many family-friendly events for its members.
Eligibility
All master Masons in good standing.
